I'm a writer who's passionate about user advocacy. Mostly because, a lot of the time, I'm a user - and if I wanted to spend all my time refusing to advocate for people like me, I'd be a politician. I'm all about designing content that engages users and makes them want to keep coming back. I like to keep it short,'cause who's got the time? And I like to make myself laugh,'cause life's too short. If you laugh too, that's a bonus! Over the last several years of freelancing, I've written- Marketing emails - Website copy - Microcopy - User flows - Fundraising emails for nonprofits - Voice and tone guides - Sketch Comedy - Commercial scripts.and so much more. Seriously - as a writer, I've worn more hats than Queen Elizabeth. Did I also mention I've worked in education and live performance (sketch comedy and improvisation), and you might have even seen me at some point doin' teacher jokes on Buzzfeed?
