About Ryan Garvey

I have had the opportunity to work in all areas of Live Production including Audio, Lighting, & Video Production. From producing services, to operating a console, to building racks, I’ve had my hands in every area. I am from Reading, PA. My wife and I moved to Charlotte in 2019 and have been loving it ever since. The positions I’ve held have needed a wide variety of skill sets. At Elevation church, my main focus was troubleshooting & support. I was able to hone in on a particular set of skills that allows me to troubleshoot quickly and effectively. I was supporting 19 campuses and ensured their weekend experiences went smooth and that all technical difficulties were solved in a very timely manner. At Charlotte Sound & Visual, I was the boots on the ground. From installing equipment and pulling cable, to troubleshooting large AV systems. I also served as the main point of contact for the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport when they we’re having PA issues airport wide. Lastly, at Wave, I was able to pull those skills together and use them on many projects.
