Mr.Sabarish Mohankumar wanted to have a deep understanding of the business he would soon head. He, therefore set out to get a firsthand feel of the entire business process of the group companies and spent several years in the trenches of market warfare. East West Pharma now employs 1500 people in manufacturing, distribution and sales. Mr.Sabarish Mohankumar along with his father has been able to take the company to one among the top 100 pharmaceutical companies in India. The evolution of East West Pharma from a low-key local player to a company with national presence across 600+ markets in India exemplifies how a broader vision and the ability to think big in small places fuels growth. Mr.Sabarish Mohankumar, who found his feet in one facet of the Group’s activity is now managing the entire activities of the East West Group along with his father. He has been able to blend scientific wisdom with business instinct to put the Group’s journey to the future on the fast track. Never fighting shy of digressing from concentric diversification, Mr.Sabarish Mohankumar along with his father launched the real estate arm of the group, East West Realty Developers, which concentrates on providing industrial infrastructure and apartments that offer quality living at affordable prices. “Balram enclave”, the premium apartment project brought in living concepts. which the city of Salem has never been exposed to. New initiatives that helps build vibrant and sustainable communities have been launched recently which allows bespoke design and construction. East West Group has also launched two multispecialty hospitals in Chennai, Chennai National Hospitals. The main facility at Beach Road is in its seventh successful year with several firsts to its credit that has set it apart as a healthcare center in North Chennai. Additional infrastructure and an expanded clinical team have been created with the opening of the PH road facility of Chennai National Hospital in 2022.
