About Saemyi Lee

Before I knew the UX/UI world existed, my approach to challenges would be by asking myself,"How do I solve this problem? How do I make this look good?" I enjoy taking a creative approach to problem-solving and delivering an aesthetically pleasing product. When I found this industry, it felt like I hit a gold mine! In my experience as a Student Services team leader, I recognized the slow conversion rate of prospective students finishing the application process. I identified the pain points through user research and user interview, and by empathizing with the users. My goal was to design a process that was user-centered. I took part in optimizing and restructuring the existing system and saw an increase in the speed and number of conversion rates. As I implemented the new system, I designed new workflows that are intuitive which increased productivity for team members by having a platform that helped to keep better consistent contact with the applicants.
