About Safa Mesrati

Safa Mesrati, 29 Tunis, Tunisia Safa is a project coordinator with over five years of experience.She earned a Bachelor degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship with honour from the High Institute of Commercial Studies of Carthage in Tunis. Previously, she occupied the position of cultural programmer in the Goethe-Institute of Tunis. Starting with the conceptualisation of the cultural events of the institute, she managed the realisation of the projects on several steps:budgeting, partnerships, communication content,follow up and providing narrative reports. For the past years, Safa worked as a project coordinator in the National Center of Cinema and Image in Tunis.Otherwise, she is a permanent member in the unit of festivals and cultural projects management during the whole professional year.She is mainly working with new graduated from Fine Arts school, helps them to produce their artistic creations and get involved in the national market. While studying, Safa joined L’Association Internationale des Étudiants de Sciences Economiques et Commerciales ( AIESEC) Carthage as an active member in the Outgoing exchange department. She worked on her personal development and network through the different positions she holds.During two terms,she participated in more than 15 local and national conferences as a delegate, organising committee member, facilitator and department’s director. Safa participated in leadership exchange programs: she participated in the promotion of the UN’s Millennium Goals to Serbian students,selected as a tunisian delegate in Middle East North Africa Students Leaders Program in the U.S and recently, she participated in the Academy MENA Leadership program in Berlin,Madrid,Istanbul and Tunis with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung foundation, focused on politics and civil society. Safa is interested in women's empowerment and human rights, demonstrated her ability of managing non-profit projects with different stakeholders and is fluent in three international languages: Arabic,French and English.
