About Sagar Singh

With an experience in multiple industries with skills gained at each turn along the way, I look back at the path before with gratitude and the long path ahead with hope and optimism. I started my career in Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited and worked as a field engineer in the zonal areas of Rohini and Mukherjee Nagar. I supervised the various activities of the zone as the ZRDMO which included Operations and Maintenance of the Power distribution network in the area as well as supervising the commercial aspects of the zonal operations. Life and career took a turn and I eventually landed up doing my MBA from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow with dual specialisations in Human Resources and Operations. At Jaipuria, I applied my managerial and leadership instincts to work as I became, firstly a member and subsequently, the Coordinator of the Placement and Corporate Relations Committee of the college. I also had a brief internship stint in Nomura, India where I worked in Corporate Communications and the HR divisions. On the extra curricular side, I like to explore my artistic side as I have taken part in multiple dance programs and competitions all throughout my life, as well as acted in stage plays both in my college and in IIT fests. As I embark on my career in HR as part of Hindustan Unilever, I am filled with determination, optimism and a will to succeed with an aim to build memorable experiences along the way.
