About Saher Alsabbah

With over two decades of expertise in psychology, I am an Associate Professor with a rich background in psychometrics, educational evaluation, data analysis, statistical methods, and special needs education. Currently, I hold multiple leadership roles at Fatima College of Health Sciences in Abu Dhabi, including Manager and PI of the Special Needs Innovation Grant, awarded as the number one innovation grant in the UAE across all universities. Additionally, I serve as Head of the Psychology and General Education Departments and Head of Innovation, with a focus spanning psychometric testing, educational methodologies, SPSS analysis, management, leadership, and intelligence measurement. Previously, I served as Acting Head of Psychology, Campus Coordinator, and Lead of Research and Ethics at Fatima College. My international experience includes positions at King Saud University, where I was Assistant Professor and Head of the Research and Publication Unit, and a Master Trainer in Assessment. My early career included roles as Post-Doctorate Lecturer and AURA Project Coordinator at the Science University of Malaysia and as Executive Manager of the Strategic Center for Scientific and Environmental Research in Jordan. A key focus of my work has been on adapting psychological tools for Arabic contexts, notably the Multiple Intelligence Development Assessment Scales (MIDAS), designed to evaluate student intelligence within culturally relevant frameworks. Additionally, I served as the coordinator for the Alussain National Innovation Prize in Jordan, a program aimed at fostering students' creativity and innovation. My contributions are recognized on an international scale, as I am an active member of editorial boards for several high-impact journals indexed by Scopus and ISI, reflecting my commitment to advancing research standards in psychology.
