About Saivignesh Rajendran

I’m a Site Reliability Engineer with experience building, scaling, and securing mission-critical infrastructure across large-scale distributed systems. My journey started in DevOps, where I specialized in cloud-native platforms, automation, and CI/CD. Over time, I evolved into SRE leadership, driving observability and reliability strategies that empowered engineering teams to move faster with confidence. At Swiggy, I led observability initiatives from scratch, deploying Prometheus, Grafana, Cortex, OpenSearch, and Fluent Bit across multi-cluster environments—enabling real-time insights, cutting MTTR, and reducing downtime by measurable percentages. Worked on scaling distributed storage systems such as Elasticache, DynamoDB, Dax, etc ensurong high availability and resilience. Currently at SambaNova Systems, I focus on AI infrastructure reliability, optimizing workloads on RDU-based clusters to accelerate inference tokens/sec) and scale training for massive LLMs like DeepSeek. I bridge the worlds of SRE principles and AI infra performance, ensuring scalability, automation, and reliability at every layer. What drives me: solving complex problems at scale, enabling teams to build faster without compromising reliability, and shaping the future of AI infrastructure.
