About Sam Gorringe

A committed change agent and senior executive, Sam has a track record of leading organisations through significant growth initiatives, cultural transformations and strategies. Known for her genuineness, strategic thinking and values-driven leadership, she's played pivotal roles across varied industries including (but not limited to) higher education, tourism, manufacturing, government, membership and human services. As a dedicated non-executive director (GAICD) and advisor to various for purpose organisations, she brings a wealth of expertise in strategy development and execution, stakeholder engagement, and transformation, as well as a passion for making a positive impact for people and communities. As CEO of TUSA, she led the transformation of one of Australia's oldest student unions. This experience provided Sam with an invaluable period of professional growth and demonstrated a deep commitment to effecting systemic change through leadership and community building. Other notable achievements include pioneering Australia's first Strategy Execution Masterclasses with Jeroen de Flander, establishing nationally awarded student wellbeing initiatives such as the Unique Tassie Experience Program, and contributing to the success of nationally and internationally recognised tourism ventures such as the Spirit of the Wild Experience and Saffire Luxury Lodge.
