About Sam Morris

I started my journey in the sports world while studying exercise science at McDaniel College. After teaching physical education for ages 4-18 in both the public and private sectors, I decided to follow a passion with pickleball and joined the new team of Dill Dinkers. I am loving developing a brand new idea. Developing unique programs that align with our target audience has been an enjoyable challenge. I have introduced a clear pathway from new to pickleball players to learn the game and get hooked, and then join our community and become a part of the facility growth. This includes recruiting a team of passionate and responsible part time staff, creating efficient operations structures to enable more flexibility for managers to create. I have built positive relationships with our many community members. I have listened to their wants and needs so that we can continue to adapt our facility to the audience we are serving. As it continues to grow,our community of players will become more diverse and I hope to help connect people to support each other off the courts as well.
