About Sam Wilson

I am a full-time student at the University of Alabama, where I am pursuing a degree in Accounting. Alongside my studies, I serve as a Youth Intern at Christ Episcopal Church in Tuscaloosa, where I contribute to mentoring and program development for the church's youth programs. In addition to my academic and internship responsibilities, I am an active member of The Mountain Grass Unit, a Bluegrass band with which I tour during the summer. My role in the band is multifaceted, as I perform as the bassist and also oversee the financial management of the band's assets. This includes budgeting, tracking expenses, managing revenue from performances and merchandise, and ensuring the financial sustainability of our operations. These experiences have allowed me to combine my passion for music with my academic focus on accounting and financial stewardship.
