I am a fourth-year student at the University of Waterloo pursuing a degree in Health Sciences, deeply committed to a future career in medicine. My passion for healthcare is evident through my role as an executive at UW Bleed Bright, a university club focused on women’s health. In this position, I helped distribute care packages to women’s shelters and engaged in discussions with successful women leaders about their perspectives on health and empowerment. This experience not only enhanced my understanding of critical health issues but also reinforced my dedication to advocating for women's health. Currently, I am focused on learning about women’s health, which aligns with my interests and aspirations. Additionally, I am excited to participate in the FemTech Innovation Challenge at my university, which aims to explore innovative approaches to addressing women’s health challenges. As I look to pursue medical school soon, I am eager to integrate my academic knowledge with hands-on experiences to make a meaningful impact on patient's lives, particularly in areas that address women's health concerns. Through dedication and hard work, I aspire to be a compassionate physician who advocates for patient well-being and contributes to advancements in healthcare.
