I have a PhD in Technology and Innovation Management and my current research is focused on the cross-section of digital innovations and the circular economy where I am particularly interested in helping firms to design and implement circular business models that generate more sustainable value. As director of RISE Technologies for interaction, I am responsible for a group of 20 designers, developers and researchers. We explore new and emerging technologies and models that enhance user interaction. We have expertise in game design and gamification, as well as real-time visualization technologies such as VR and AR. We use design principles to understand the interplay between people and artefacts and develop iterative, functional prototypes in the design process.
