About Sara Ibrahim

As a development professional with over 9 years of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication, I bring a proven track record of managing complex, multi-million-dollar initiatives in economic growth, and rural development. I currently serve as a Project Management Assistant at USAID/Egypt, where I support and lead high-impact portfolio of projects in Egypt's agriculture and water sector —including acting as a project manger for the North Sinai Rural Development initiative and Deputy project manager for the USAID's flagship agriculture project. My work spans technical program design, compliance oversight, gender integration, MEL, and GIS mapping—skills I leverage daily to support evidence-based implementation and community-focused results. I’ve also acted as a Gender Point of Contact, Monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL lead), and communications reviewer, helping ensure our programming is inclusive, strategic, and aligned with Egypt’s development priorities. With fluency in English and Arabic and a deep understanding of Egypt’s socioeconomic context, I’m passionate about contributing to sustainable, inclusive, and resilient development. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Economics in International Development at AUC, I am continuously growing my technical and policy knowledge to better serve in leadership roles at UN agencies and multilateral institutions.
