I am a Toronto-based Cultural Event & Program Producer with over 15 years of experience in event production, cultural programming, and community engagement. Born and raised in Iran, I moved to Toronto at the age of 19, where the city's vibrant multicultural landscape fueled my passion for volunteer work and deepened my commitment to fostering inclusive cultural experiences. I earned a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Toronto Metropolitan University and have since dedicated my career to leading and contributing to impactful arts initiatives. Throughout my career, I have worked with prominent cultural organizations, including Tirgan Festival, Small World Music, and Toronto Dance Theatre. I have played pivotal roles in large-scale events such as the Global Toronto Music Festival, Nuit Blanche, and Tirgan Festival, overseeing logistics, artist coordination, stakeholder engagement, and festival programming. Currently, I serve as the Project Lead for the Global Toronto Music Festival 2024, ensuring a dynamic and equitable platform for diverse artists, and as an Associate Producer for the Toronto Dance Theatre’s 2024-2025 season, contributing to bringing compelling performances to life. My extensive experience includes leadership roles such as Deputy Operations Director at Tirgan Festival, Volunteer Coordinator for Small World Music’s Global Toronto Conference, and Project Coordinator for Nuit Blanche, managing production across multiple venues. My dedication to community-driven arts programming is shaped by my immigrant journey, which has enriched my perspective and strengthened my advocacy for diversity, equity, and accessibility in the arts. As a strategic leader and passionate producer, I continue to create opportunities for artists and audiences alike, using my expertise to bridge connections between local and global cultural communities. My work is a testament to the power of collaboration, cultural storytelling, and artistic impact.
