Bringing people together is what I do. I’m not one to believe in social circles. Circles of any kind really. Throwing parties is my forte and where my path to bringing all groups together started. When most plan a party they consider their guest list first - is this a work party? Perhaps a college friends party? I couldn’t possibly blend college and corporate. Could I? I could! It would always make people nervous when I’d blend social circles but the end result was always fantastic. Groups of people coming together, making new and lasting friendships. Many of those that continue outside of my kitchen to this day. That’s what I love to do with businesses. I want to get you out in the community. I want you to meet those who attend Folk Fest. The ones who know the importance of Heritage Festival. The companies who’s values align with yours and who’s brand can only compliment the work you do. You never know who will turn around and become the best partner for your organization or better yet a life long donor, customer or advocate. Creating a network of people has helped me to become a strong and confident leader. Each time my network grows so does my knowledge and education. I’m ready to find my next adventure where I can work on a strong team to create impact in, not only our industry, but the community as well. I’m excited to bring my skills such as project management, team work, event planning, sponsorship, partnership marketing, community engagement and creative thinking to my next role and learn new ones as well.
