Background

About Sara Sebba

I hold a master's degree in Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Tel Aviv University, with a focus on international conflicts and their resolution through negotiation and reconciliation. I also hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Law and Society from the University of British Columbia, providing me with a solid understanding of political systems, legal frameworks, and the societal impacts of policy. Equipped with a deep understanding of conflict dynamics and extensive training in mediation and negotiation, I possess the ability to navigate complex, sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and practical problem-solving. My experience includes research, case studies, and simulations, refining my ability to foster constructive dialogue and manage difficult conversations. Currently, I am proud to serve as a Constituency Assistant for MLA Lynne Block at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, where I have the opportunity to support our local community, assist constituents in navigating government services, and advocate for important issues impacting West Vancouver-Capilano and the province. In this role, I apply my skills in conflict resolution, communication, and stakeholder engagement daily—whether helping residents access services, liaising with government agencies, or contributing to the advancement of local initiatives. I’m passionate about community-building, creating positive relationships, and promoting transparent, effective public service.
