About Sara Smart

I started my career in operations within financial services and for more than 10 years worked for investment banks and an international stock broking firm. Then came a big change. Having having developed a passion for helping to create efficiencies in business processes, supporting business growth, reducing costs and mitigating risk, ten years ago I moved into the HR world via recruitment and then into HR Tech and software sales. I joined Brightmine just over a year ago and couldn't be happier to help organisations and HR professionals to get the most from the services we offer. For more than 20 years, Brightmine™, formerly XpertHR, has worked with over customers, partners, and employees, innovating with new technology and getting to know what shapes the world’s most successful businesses and workforces. As we’ve grown in both the depth and breadth of our products, solutions and markets served, we continue to focus on helping our customers navigate the ever more complicated world of work with confidence. Outside the office, I'm a devoted daughter and friend, most of whom are far and wide. Lover of wine and recently joined a wine club to help deepen my knowledge and refine my taste. Lover of dance music, all things Greek and Australian and upcycling pieces of furniture.
