About Sarah Bauerle Danzman
Sarah Bauerle Danzman is an Associate Professor of International Studies at Indiana University Bloomington where she specializes in the politics of multinational investment and production, with a particular emphasis on: investment policy formation, the nexus of national security and foreign investment, and how transnational networks structure financial power and states' power projection. Her book, Merging Interests: When Domestic Firms Shape FDI Policy, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2019. In 2019-20, she was a Council of Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellow in the Office of Investment Affairs of the US Department of State. In 2014-2015 she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance at the Woodrow Wilson School, Princeton University. In addition to her academic post, she is currently a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, a CFR term member, and a Senior Advisor at Resolute Strategic Services.
