Background
About Sarah Ghavami
I am a counsellor-in-training with a PhD and over eight years of university lecturing experience, following eight years of marketing consultancy experience. I am now focusing on transitioning to the field of counselling by bringing a compassionate, evidence-based approach to supporting others. My practice is grounded in person-centred, trauma-informed, and CBT principles.Currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (UNSW) and Diploma of Counselling (IAP), I am in the process of ACA membership accreditation and preparing for placement opportunities. My goal is to support adults navigating stress, grief, emotional regulation, and life transitions, while continuing my journey toward a Master of Counselling.
