About Sarah Kephart

I’m a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and arts leader working at the intersection of disability, accessibility, and creative expression. For nearly 15 years, I’ve collaborated with blind, visually impaired, and disabled communities to co-create inclusive, multisensory environments where touch, sound, and spirit lead the artistic process. My own lived experience informs how I teach, mentor, and lead—with deep respect for the transformative power of art. As the Arts Director at Envision, I oversee the artistic vision, instruction, and operations of a nationally recognized, year-round arts education program serving blind, visually impaired, and intellectually/developmentally disabled individuals of all ages. I also lead programming and exhibitions for the Envision Arts Gallery and Community Engagement Center, curating accessible exhibitions, artist residencies, and public programs that deepen community connection and visibility. In Dallas, I’m spearheading efforts to build local partnerships and launch creative programs that center the voices and talents of disabled artists.
