About Savannah Lee

I am a recent graduate from the Nonprofit Management program at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington. I am passionate about the voluntary sector and filling the gaps in public need. Nonprofit organizations perform a vital role in maintaining a functioning society by providing essential services of all forms to millions of stakeholders. I aim to bring an excitement to serve, innovative ideas, and an appreciation of our mission's greater importance to my future positions. Through my studies, I have learned how to create, trouble-shoot, and manage nonprofit organizations of multiple structures and types. Projects have included developing targeted recommendations to boards of real nonprofits on strategic planning and programming, researching possible changes to current public policy that could benefit the nonprofit sector, and studying theory-based approaches to nonprofit growth. I have also taken introductory courses to computer programming, nonprofit financial accounting, and both domestic and international policy research that I feel will provide me with a breadth of ability and perspective to supply my employers.
