About Scott Dixon

Currently open to freelance work in the camera and electrical departments. I am a reliable and motivated Camera Technician, Camera Trainee and Spark with a strong technical understanding and a passion for cameras and lighting. As a current Technician at Pixipixel, I have a broad and in depth understanding of a wide array of industry standard kit, including camera, lighting, grip and sound. Alongside my experience operating our kit, I also have an awareness of common technical issues and the ability to resolve them, which has proved useful many times on set. I have previously worked on several short films, both narrative and documentary, as well as live event filming. With experience working as part of a larger crew as well as taking on multiple roles on smaller micro-budget sets, I have developed strong communication and organisational skills, necessary to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team. I aspire to continue developing my work and abilities as a filmmaker and hope to progress to some more challenging roles and projects.
