About Scott Ross

You can see from my banner photo I'm not afraid to take on difficult tasks. Whether it be climbing a 14er, moving my family from So Cal to Omaha, NE, to start a church in a city where we knew no one, or launching collaborative partnerships with people from a variety of backgrounds overcoming differences to achieve common goals, my personal motto is 'How hard can it be?' But I'm not a fan of going alone on the journey. I work best in a team environment where each one's strengths are cultivated, new leaders are identified, trained & released, and the sum of our work is truly greater because of our collective contributions. I'm committed to working this way because people are the most important asset to any organization and as they grow and mature so will the organization and its impact. Willingness to take on difficult tasks in a team environment has given me the opportunity to - Pilot and test collaborative partnerships to fund Bible translation- Scale pilot programs to multiple cities across the US - Serve on a President's Guiding Coalition team to set in place an organizational 10 year vision - Recruit, train and release volunteers to lead groups and teach courses that build and strengthen local church ministry In my spare time you'll find me spending time with my family, working on my home, enjoying nature, or volunteering as a fire chaplain.
