About Scott Thiele

A mechanical engineering student building on 15 years of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic possessing a broad range of skills, with strong administration and management skills. I am interested in biomedical technology, robotics and mechatronics, and desire to use my abilities to help improve the lives of others. I have a thorough understanding of the workings of various mechanisms, fault finding and advanced problem solving techniques. I am capable with the use of technology, from visual design software through to CAD softare, including Adobe Photoshop, MatLab and Autodesk Inventor. I have advanced skills in the use of tooling and manufacturing equipment, and basic programming skills using Python and C. Supplementing my engineering skills, I am a sound communicator and can effectively produce documentation, presentations as well as perform administrative duties to a high standard.
