About Scout Sorcic

I’m a passionate educator with a background in high school teaching, river guiding, and outdoor education. My approach blends big-picture thinking with a strong attention to detail, allowing me to support students both holistically and practically as they explore their futures and the outdoors. Currently, I serve as the Career Programme Coordinator at Sage International School, an IB World School, where I help students navigate career pathways, develop essential life skills, and connect their academic experience with real-world opportunities. I manage 35 unique career exploration experiences, advise and mentor. I’m especially drawn to education that goes beyond the classroom think linking academic growth to experiential learning and community engagement. With a background in outdoor leadership and guiding, I value resilience, adaptability, and curiosity. Along with a sense of humor, these skills are in my backpack everyday.
