About Sean Rand

Have you ever tried to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes? I have, and it can be very taxing. Throughout my grade school years, I was fortunate enough to make friends with people from all sorts of backgrounds, both ethnically and financially. This exposure has served me well on my path through life, as I am able to see the impacts decisions can make across multiple perspectives. While I will never claim to know exactly what another person is experiencing, I can empathize and understand how they will perceive things. This has taken me on a path to see that value can be seen in anyone, and you don’t have to look all that hard to find it. My background has also translated monumentally to me in my adult years, both professionally and personally. Through my professional experiences, it has lead to my ability to be sympathetic to the messaging and delivery mechanisms of the marketing campaigns that I have had to the privilege to work on. The key to any great campaign is understanding your audience, and to speak to them where they are. My time at a large public hospital only served to reinforce this ideology as we had patients from an array of backgrounds and cultures pass through our doors. It was a challenge that I accepted everyday to make sure the messaging that I was creating resonated with as many of these patients and visitors as possible. As I moved on this only became more relevant. Up until most recently where I have been working as a social media and marketing manager for a resume writer and career coach. The need to help others find their way, is compelling and, to be honest, a little addictive. My brand of communicating is one of compassion, understanding, honesty, and accountability.
