I love bringing people together; whether this comes from my Italian culture, or from my travels and experiences around the globe, I have always striven to make everyone around me feel valued, at ease, and taken care of. I love the fact that I get to do that in my job, by taking care of the smallest detail, and with stakeholders and internal collaborators, by maintaining a personal, human touch in everything I do. But I also love a good, smooth flow, and a neat organization - and that is what I excel at during the management and preparation phase of my job as Event Manager. Thinking forward and anticipating tasks and potential hiccups makes me react quickly and readily when last-minute changes come up! When the house in on fire, you want to have planned for an extinguisher in advance! From shaping the event with the client, making their vision turn into reality, to coordinating and overseeing logistics and academic aspects, my proactive approach and flexibility would be of no use without a team surrounding me. I consider my team anyone that I get to work with on a project - stakeholder, faculty, colleagues. We are all aiming for the smoothest delivery possible, and to make the client as happy and satisfied as they can be. I take a great pride in empathy and team spirit. But there is a real person behind this profile! In my free-time, you can find me hiking, experimenting world cuisine, playing guitar, learning foreign languages (I speak 8!
