Who I am: I am a business lawyer, with a degree in finance, and licensed Louisiana real estate broker with a decade of experience guiding clients through commercial transactions that are often complex and crucial to a company’s success. A partner in the New Orleans office of Jones Walker LLP, I work with exploration and production, hospitality, real estate development, and manufacturing companies as well as national and local lenders. What I do: My client service philosophy is always to leverage my experience and my firm’s network of knowledge to find the best approach to any transaction. My goal is to find the most efficient and, when appropriate, creative way to meet a client’s objective. I handle real estate acquisitions and dispositions, commercial office and industrial leasing, real estate development, business formation and corporate governance matters. I have experience in securing and structuring financing for companies, purchasing and selling all types of property, organizing companies of all sizes, financing various types of transactions, and executing all aspects of a real estate deals, landlord/tenant disputes, foreclosures, work-outs, and bankruptcies. In the energy industry, I have specific experience in negotiating Master Service Contracts (MSCs), Master Service Agreement (MSAs), vendor supply agreements, pipeline servitude and construction agreements, and production, handling, processing, and transportation agreements, offshore platform construction/financing, LNG facilities and drilling contracts.
