I am looking for a construction superintendent position where my leadership skills and multidisciplinary background can really shine, and where I can continue to grow as a professional. I care deeply about delivering a high quality finished product and about maintaining positive and productive relationships with clients, colleagues, vendors, and subcontractors. I have over eight years of hands-on construction experience, across multiple trades, and as a sole proprietor. I have an eye for the finest details, and a natural aptitude for understanding how all those details stack up, from the earliest stages, to create a stunning finished product. My diverse, on-the-job experience, helps me to proactively understand what infrastructural and logistical requirements a given design may entail, and make sure those requirements are properly planned for and accounted for, ensuring the highest quality finished result, and a refined production process. I am an articulate and transparent communicator, skilled in interfacing with customers as well as tradespeople and subcontractors. I am an intelligent and empathic listener, and find it easy to understand or find out exactly what's expected from a client, engineer, architect, or another company or contractor. I am a collaborative leader; I understand what's required for a company or tradesperson to provide quality and efficient service, and I know how to demonstrate my expectations in a way that encourages cooperation and understanding. I am a proactive thinker with a passion for learning and information. I seek to know better, do better, and be better every day, and learn from every experience, success, or failure. I am highly flexible and adept at problem solving on the fly and I come to work every day ready to do so. I'm looking for more than a job.
