About Shane McKeever
I've been playing piano for 18 years, flute for 14 years, and organ for 13 years. I've been highlighted in the styles of both classical music and jazz. In the jazz world here in Detroit, I have gotten to play with the likes of Marcus Belgrave, Wendell Harrison, Rodney Whitaker, and many more while studying jazz with the likes of Trent Mitchell, Chris Codish, Rick Roe, Pamela Wise, Buddy Budson, and Rob Pipho. I have released two Christmas CD's and a jazz CD in 2009 entitled "Finding My Way". On October 15, 2011, I will be releasing my next CD "Nightwalker", inspired by an article by writer Brent Staples entitled "Black Men and Public Space".
