About Shaun McKenzie

Passionate about arboriculture and ecology. I found my calling (Arboriculture) in 2017 where I attended Myerscough College to study the level 3 diploma in Arboriculture. Before this, I was working labouring jobs, unable to find stability in a career. After finding arboriculture, I became passionate on another level, work and studying became my life. I progressed well on the college course and was highly encouraged to go to university. Although I wanted to work in the industry as an Arborist, I knew I couldn't miss the opportunity of going to university to study arboriculture. When attending university, I soaked up all the information I possibly could, I really enjoyed my time there and found myself immersed in a wealth of knowledge with great tutors all around me. My knowledge on arboriculture improved to a level I never anticipated. I completed my foundation degree and knew that was enough for me, I was keen to work as an arborist full time. I found Bartlett Tree Experts straight after university being there I grew as an Arborist immensely, soon becoming a team leader. Having now served multiple years as an arborist I am ready for the next challenge and to use my knowledge more.
