About Shayna Williams

I am a Business student at the University of Arkansas, majoring in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and minoring in Accounting. My academic journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence, demonstrated by maintaining a 4.0 GPA and being consistently recognized on the Chancellor and Dean's list every semester. My involvement on campus reflects my passion for leadership, mentorship, and community engagement. As President of the Future Women Business Leaders student organization and Lead Calculus Tutor for ThriveTutoring NWA, I have honed my leadership and mentoring skills. Additionally, my roles as a member of the Dean's Student Collaboration Team, Leadership Walton, and the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation's Student Advisory Board have allowed me to collaborate on initiatives that enhance the student experience. Through my involvement in various campus organizations and professional internships, I strive to empower others, foster innovation, and contribute to a better, more sustainable future. This summer, I’m gaining valuable industry experience as a Financial Advisory Intern at Beacon Financial Group. I am also proud to be a part of the McMillon Innovation Studio, where I contributed to a design and product team focused on human-centered design and problem-solving. Our project on optimizing student gut health showcased my dedication to health, nutrition, and sustainability. I am passionate about problem-solving and always strive to address the root cause of issues rather than just the symptoms. My love for math, nutrition, health, and sustainability drives me to go above and beyond in everything I do. I take pride in being a perfectionist and a life-long learner, constantly seeking to grow personally, professionally, and academically. In addition to my academic and extracurricular pursuits, I actively mentor fellow students through the Business Living Learning Community and participate in volunteer activities with the Volunteer Action Center: Find Your Impact. My ultimate goal is to make a difference in people's lives by leveraging my communication skills and knowledge to create meaningful and sustainable solutions.
