Twenty one years of public health experience. Effective communicator, presenter, trainer, and project coordinator with strong planning, analysis, and implementation skills. Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate complex/detailed programs, and drive initiatives toward successful and timely completion. Has served in both local and regional public health organizations across three states including Tennessee, Georgia, and Ohio. Experience includes health promotion, emergency response training coordination and planning, coordination and facilitation of PHAB accreditation. Additional experience in quality improvement, performance management, Community Health Assessments, and Community Health Improvement Planning. Currently directing a team of public health workers spanning vital statistics, epidemiology, public health emergency response, health education, and public information. During the COVID-19 response served as planning chief and managed points of dispensing site operations. Prior to joining the public health workforce served in hospital marketing and health promotion and in provider relations and contracting with a managed care organization.
