About Shivani Jadaun

Hi, I am a trained nurse and a midwife from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal. I also have a master's degree in public health (MPH) from the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar Gujarat. With progressive experience in public health, precisely health system strengthening and large-scale health workforce development, I bring proficiency in public health research and policy analysis, government advocacy, stakeholder management, program development and implementation, along with capacity bridging of health workforce at scale, documentation, and systems thinking. While being at it, I have been able to advance health system strengthening work across multiple states and with myriads of stakeholders. This includes partners such as BMGF, JPAL South Asia, IDinsight, Government of Uttar Pradesh, NHM Uttar Pradesh, Aastrika Foundation, NITI Aayog, etc. I am an advocate for locating communities and disadvantaged groups in my work, and thus, my work reflects principles of health equity. As a first generation woman learner, I'm driven to expand my horizons and contribute to improve the health outcomes of populations.
