About Shonet Dsouza

Being passionate about people, purpose, and impact, my life and career are characterized by an intentional balance of professional accomplishments and personal passions. I am a Certified Human Resources Leader, a Disability Inclusion Speaker and a Social Impact Advocate. I currently work as the Manager of People & Culture at Armagh​ Transition House, a non-profit organization that supports women and children in rebuilding their lives as they flee from gender based violence. In this role, I leverage my diverse background in HR to partner with leaders and create impactful people programs that align with Armagh's vision, mission and strategic plan. Stemming from my own lived experience with epilepsy and my commitment to advocacy, I founded a consulting practice focused on disability inclusion education and awareness. My passion for philanthropy keeps me involved in volunteer work as a Public Speaker and Disability Inclusion Advocate at Epilepsy Toronto and United Way Greater Toronto. When I'm not contributing to the HR and social impact world, you might find me biking around the city, playing tennis and pickleball, indulging in sustainable fashion and home decor projects, or walking around the neighbourhood listening to books and podcasts.
