About Shorouk Magdy

A skilled and experienced translator, interpreter, English instructor, creative content writer, and voiceover artist with a shown working history in the translation, interpretation teaching, and media industries. Currently, I am working on my MA degree in Trans-creation and Translation-Adaptation, and Cognitive Linguistics, Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University. An advocate of human rights; rights of children, refugees, and asylum seekers. Also, an advocate of women's rights and gender equality. As a post-graduate student and researcher, I have done several research papers concerned with the issues of gender studies, ideology, intercultural-ism, cultural-mediation, critical discourse analysis, and other translation/interpretation and linguistic areas, in addition to exploring new scopes of translation and interpreting studies such as trans-creation, copywriting, content creation, and community/dialogue interpreting. Aspiring to work in an extraordinary and effective position as an interpreter within the humanitarian and inter-cultural mediation fields, helping victims of crises and breaking language barriers between people.
