About Sid Lloyd
Founded in 2004, the British Football Academy (BFA) is now in it's 21 year of operation. With 7 venues in Tokyo and 2 in Yokohama, serving over 500 children on a weekly basis, catering to both Japanese and international children. Prior to launching the BFA, we (Footy Japan KK) established the highly successful Tokyo Metropolis League, an expat football league with 30 teams and over 700 registered players. Now in its 22nd season, the league continues to thrive with the support of main sponsor ESR. In addition to the league, we organize various one- and two-day 7-a-side football tournaments, 11-a-side knockout competitions, and charity tournaments that have raised millions of yen for UNICEF, Refugees International Japan, and other selected charities.
