About Silvia Lanfranchini

Italian by birth, citizen of the world by choice, globetrotter at heart. From the age of 19 I’ve experienced extensive travel and daily life in multicultural environments. Bilingual EN-IT, I speak and write fluently in English, French, Italian and (although not with the same level of proficiency) Spanish. currently working towards Chinese but the road ahead is still long, albeit exciting.Through past and present positions I have gained a solid background in working in an international environment, playing a reliable and efficient role. I thoroughly enjoy customer/colleague support across, as well as dealing with people from the most varied of backgrounds.Whenever there's a difficult case to deal-with I always strive to manage it effectively, knowing when/whom to escalate to if I cannot solve a problem directly. I am not deterred by difficult behaviour and try my best to keep level-headed in all situations.I am an excellent team player, empathic, organised, determined, with a sunny and inquisitive disposition, who enjoys working with like-minded colleagues.Outside working hours I like to spend time with my family, travelling off-the-beaten track with them whenever possible, but if I'm house-bound then a good book will keep me voyaging with my mind till the next adventure. Socialiser by nature without being intrusive, I love arabian horses, anything related with the Far East (particularly China), good food and photography.
