About Simon Bradshaw

20+ years in the science/health sector working for industry and government in commercial roles driving innovation through partnerships, grant funding, bid management and strategy. In recent years he led a £100m programme for the Department of Health in partnership with Wellcome to bring innovation to the NHS and worked in a successful bid team for an international life sciences company, LGC. Previously he pursued his interest in preventative health and entrepreneurship with several SMEs through the development and commercialisation of novel health screening devices in collaboration with partners and distributors in UK, US and EMEA. Simon enjoys working on initiatives with colleagues and building solutions which capitalise on his strategic mind-set, analytical skills, attention-to-detail and enthusiasm for innovation whether in a start-up or more established enterprise. He has a science and engineering background which allows him to pick up technical aspects quickly and consider both the operational practicalities and commercial opportunity.
