About Simon Daly

Background I started teaching English as a second Language in Cairo in 1991. But this engagement was cut short by the 1st Gulf War. After spending nearly 15 years in the community sector in the UK and Australia, I relocated to Thailand where I really developed the bulk of my teaching experience. Who In Bangkok I was employed as a freelance teacher in a few schools, before moving into the adult education sector. Working mainly for government organizations and state enterprises; including The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Bureau of Fiscal Policy, Interpol, The Ministry of Public Health, The Ministry of Education and The Office of The Prime Minister. I have also managed to squeeze in some corporate work with AIS, Kasikorn Bank, Thai Life Insurance and a few other lesser well known organizations. With Despite being self-employed, my experience includes working with teams, and co-collaborators as well as working independently. Aviation English I spent a number of years specializing in Aviation English, training members of the aviation community from around the world to both deliver, evaluate (rate) and take the international aviation English test. My involvement in this process includes training the people giving the test, and those taking the test. I was employed by the Civil Aviation Training Centre, Aerothai, The Royal Thai Air Force Academy and Viet Flight Training. What My experience includes working as a part time and full time instructor, developing and delivering short and longer courses and specialized courses for various purposes, as well as currently running a consultancy business in the Australian Community Sector.
