About Simon Khorani

I'm driven by a passion for nutrition and a desire to equip others to live healthier lives. Originally from Kurdistan, Iraq, I'm a Chaldean/Assyrian international student pursuing a degree in Nutritional Science at Pepperdine University, awarded the prestigious Blanche E. Seaver Scholarship. As the top graduate in my high school class, I bring a strong academic foundation and a commitment to excellence. Currently, I actively contribute to Alzheimer's and Nutrition research as a research assistant at Pepperdine. Beyond academics, I'm actively involved on campus, serving on the executive boards of both Psi Upsilon and the Middle Eastern Student Association. My fascination with nutrition stems from two key sources: my obsession with calisthenics, demanding a deep understanding of nutrition for optimal performance, and a genuine love for helping people achieve their health aspirations. As I envision my future, I see myself contributing to the field of nutrition, making a positive impact on individual and community well-being.
