About Thomas Fox

I work for a small to medium sized non-profit in Indianapolis, IN. The core of my work is with our membership, primarily the undergraduates on college campuses and developing and implementing programs (goal setting, risk management, recruitment, member education and so forth). My other responsibilities include the expansion of the fraternity onto new campuses and help reorganizing struggling chapters. I also work with our alumni organizations - acting as a resource and a steward for them. Finally I am a liaison between our host institutions and their administrators. I travel extensively, visiting over 20 college campuses each year, many multiple times. This excess of travel has helped me develop the ability to successfully work on multiple projects as well as being able to adapt to change. I also help plan and run numerous events including an annual convention every June, Leadership Academy every January, council and foundation board meetings, and retreats. In addition to this I handle much of our database work - updating files and maintaining records and also manipulating reports as I need them. I also handle the accounts receivable for the fraternity: billing, collecting, and maintaining our journal and chart of accounts.
