About Simon King

For the last 9 years I have been working to refine my craft in QA, starting from temporary QA Technician to my current role as Associate Development Manager, where I been able to develop my understanding of the different roles and how I can help coach and mentor a team. I've worked with a wide array of departments within the business, helping them achieve what they need while also identifying issues and managing expectations. I'm always looking for ways to improve myself, and open to constructive criticism. to improve the teams processes for helping growth and proficiency, and look forward to taking on new challenges. I have been looking to move into the Associate Producer role, I'm confident that I have gained experience in this type of role in the current role I perform as Associate Development Manager. Over time in my current role I sat in daily productions meetings raising issues and pointing to tasks that need to be done ahead of time. Taking over scrum meetings for different disciplines when a producer was unable to attend, planning dates for upcoming builds and releases (patches, DLC). Managing a team and their workload, over seeing test plan creation, assessing risks of the test plans with upcoming deadlines, mentoring developing team members in 1-2-1 sessions. Communicating with all departments around the company to make sure they are supported with what they need to achieve, and working with outside 3rd party companies.
