About Simon McCool

I’m an AI Engineer and systems designer with a PhD in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. I build agentic, human-centred AI frameworks that blend automation with expert oversight—so decisions stay transparent, accountable, and firmly in human hands.I currently lead development of a production AI ecosystem for property intelligence: Scout, Survello, and Brodie—interoperable agents deployed on Google Cloud Run. Together they research, summarise, and refine survey data with human review loops, traceability, and strong data integrity built in.My toolkit spans LLM-driven summarisation, RAG, and LangChain orchestration, plus geospatial data fusion (noise, flood, and radon analytics using GeoPandas and Folium). I focus on systems that are ethically aligned, technically robust, and commercially scalable—turning AI research into real-world products that deliver measurable value, including £m-scale savings and new revenue opportunities, across multiple market sectors.I’m focused on responsible innovation and building UK-based AI that supports professional industries, strengthens compliance, and raises standards through explainability and human collaboration.
