About Simon Syddall

Commercially aware Chartered Accountant in General Professional Practice with a Top 30 Accountancy Firm, based in Lincolnshire, in the East Midlands. I have 48 years of experience, 10 of those years on the client's side of the table, which means I have personally experienced the 'pain'​ which clients suffer. My wife and I currently own a health food shop, so I understand the unrelenting day to day pressures of a small business. Others have said that I am someone who really understands business, is commercial and doesn't 'just do the numbers'. A particular specialist area is Healthcare, acting for Medical GPs. I have worked in the NHS as a Trust non-executive director. I get a buzz from my clients achieving successful outcomes - maximising income, efficiency and owner drawings, whilst paying the correct tax. Other sectors where I help clients, are Agriculture and Construction and I have Special Interests in Forensic Accounting, Business Valuations and the use of IT in driving business efficiency, via planning, monitoring and reporting.
