About Simone Galloway

As a kid, when I'd get home to our home in Crown Heights, while my friends would be playing hopscotch or glued to the TV, I was more interested in spending time with my best friend. For me, that was my Grandpa Edmond. My parent's apartment was attached to the back of my grandparent's house, so all I had to do was race up the stairs. I loved spending time with both of them, but it was Grandpa who really "got me." We'd joke around, play Connect Four, and talk for hours. And after we lost my grandmother to breast cancer in 1988, my grandpa and I grew even closer. He was still my best friend. And we remained close until he passed away in his home in 2015.I know it was all those years with him that helped me learn my calling was to serve our elders. I entered the field of healthcare in At first, I became a Certified Medical Assistant but trained to be a surgical technician, working for many years in various hospitals, including Mt. Sinai Hospital. Maybe empathy and compassion run in my family, but they always fueled my desire to serve others through my career. The years of experience led me to realize two things: I wanted to have a say in who was fit to be a caregiver, and I wanted to have a more significant impact than from one-to-one care. I began to envision a care business to make a greater difference in more lives. It was a shared vision that drew me to Wisdom Senior Care. I'm so motivated by Wisdom Senior Care's mission. We have a tested system to help our elders live their best lives, where they feel happy, cherished, and respected. And you get peace of mind. It starts at the top to set the standard.
