I am a young ambitious lady, who is eager to learn and grow as a professional.I am currently working as a State Accountant in Internal Control Assurance Services Western Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism. Ive worked as SDC Associate 2 at PwC where I assisted audit teams to provide assurance services to the firms clients by performing test of details to the samples selected by audit teams from the annual financial statements of clients. Ive worked as a Debtors Controller at Twizza Pty Ltd where my responsibilities included but were not limited to maintaining the Accounts Receivable Ledger Accounts,ensuring that customers receive their accounts statements on time,processing credit notes for returned stock and pallets, liaising with customers and sales representatives to ensure that each customers account is up to date with correct balances.Processing discounts as per the individual customers contract with the company and applying payments to the different customers accounts. I also worked as a Finance Intern at Twizza Pty Ltd.Where my responsibilities included assisting the entire finance team with their different responsibilities.I assisted all finance functions from the Debtors,Creditors,Bookkeeper,Finance Accountant and Cost and Management Accountant.In this role I received exposure into the corporate finance environment and I polished my people skills as I learnt how to work well in a team and how to communicate with people of different authorities in the workplace. I obtained my BCom Accounting degree followed by Postgraduate Diploma in Internal Auditing from the Nelson Mandela University. My aspiration is to become a Certified Internal Auditor and I aim to do this by achieving more experience and developing my career further while enhancing my skills and studying further to obtain the necessary qualifications.
