Hey there, I'm Sofia, passionate about enabling early-stage startups to communicate their unique value and secure the funding they need to bring their solutions to market and change lives. With 7+ years of expertise in branding, user experience, and design, I currently run a design studio that offers lean packages tailored for early-stage startups. I also collaborate with AstroLabs, designing the curriculum for their market entry and open innovation programs. Key Achievements- Accelerating 50+ startups through AstroLabs' market entry and open innovation programs, where I designed the core curriculum and coordinated with experts and mentors to deliver all the sessions- Driving brand development and user experience design for 30+ businesses during my freelance career, which led to establishing my own design studio- Sustaining a successful, fully self-funded business while strictly prioritizing health, work-life balance, and full location flexibility. How did I get here? Two months into my first job, I realized I needed more freedom and purpose in my career. When COVID hit, I was forced to work as a freelancer, and after a couple of years, I managed to embrace the location independent lifestyle. Finally, I was free to pick and choose where, when, how and with whom I was living and working. That led me to focus on optimizing every aspect of my life and become my best self. I spent countless hours listening to podcasts, reading articles and researching all things related to health & wellness, while also wanting to spend more and more time in nature. Fast forward to 2024, I started working with AstroLabs in startup accelerator programs where I quickly fell in love with its fast-paced innovative environment, finding purpose in helping impactful innovations scale. This journey led me to combine my expertise in design and branding with my passion for health, wellness and nature, to support startups in this space thrive. I believe health and climate solutions deserve to be seen.
