I am a senior at International Academy East with a strong passion for computer science, robotics, and engineering. I thrive on exploring innovative ways to solve real-world problems through programming, physics, and the practical applications of technology. I have worked on several projects that reflect my passion for computer science- Created a person-detection system for smart door technology, where a camera recognizes individuals to trigger a mechanism that opens and closes the door automatically, providing convenience and safety for households with pets- Developed a basketball hoop detection system using Python, showcasing my ability to apply computer vision techniques to practical problems- Built software to predict stock market trends using Python and natural language processing (NLP), combining data analysis with machine learning concepts- Designed and created websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, demonstrating my skills in front-end development- Currently working on a software solution to detect misinformation and fake news, aiming to contribute to a more informed and truthful digital environment. I play Junior Varsity tennis, where I’ve developed focus and teamwork skills, and compete on the Varsity bowling team, where I’ve gained precision and adaptability. My main interest lies in computer science, where I aim to deepen my expertise and contribute to projects at the intersection of technology and innovation.
